Introduction : The School Magazine is a publication of a school.
In general, it is published annually or periodically. It is an embodiment of thinking of the students. They can express the green ideas of their mind through this.
Publication of our school magazine : Like other schools ours has also a school magazine. The name of our magazine is " The light of Dawn." It is an annual publication. In order to conduct the works of publication of our school at first a magazine committee is formed.
The Headmaster is the chairperson and chief patron of the committee. A teacher is made the advisor. A student who is good at literature is made the editor of the magazine committee. Some students who are engaged in the committee work as
assistant editors, business editors, proof readers etc. The publication cost of the magazine is mostly provided by school fund.

Varieties in our school magazine : Our school magazine has both Bengali and English sections. Both teachers and students write for it. Generally poems, short stories, jokes, one-act play,riddles and other educative writings are published in the magazine. After publication when the magazine reaches our hands, our joys know no bounds. The students are delighted to see their writings in the printed book. For this the publication of school magazine is very important.

Conclusion : The school magazine helps the young learners and writers to develop their latent faculties. They read literature, history, science and many other things from it. It also helps them in developing their power of thinking and writing.
So, I think every school should have a magazine.

Introduction : The world is becoming a digital planet. Use of Information and Communication Technology has brought the nations of the world closer.

At present, almost every state is running to become a knowledge based society. Bangladesh cannot remain out of it and the Government has declared to turn Bangladesh into digital one by 2021. 'Digital Bangladesh' is a concept that will make our country more efficient, transparent and productive.
Meaning of 'Digital Bangladesh' : The word 'Digital' refers to system based on continuous flow of data or events. And the term 'Digital Bangladesh' refers to a society based on knowledge. The object of
establishing a 'Digital Bangladesh' is to ensure an ICT (Information and
Communication Technology) driven knowledge-based society. In such society information will be readily available online and where all possible tasks of the government, semi-government and also private institutions will be processed using technology.

Present scenario : Bangladesh has been connected to worldwide Internet Super High Way through an under sea submarine cable. Yet in the field of ICT, our only grand success lies in Mobile Telecommunication which has brought about a radical change in telecommunication of the country. In other spheres of ICT, our achievements are not remarkable.

Problems and challenges : The promise of a Digital Bangladesh has inspired great hopes for the people in Bangladesh, especially for the young.

Unfortunately, the prospect of Digital Bangladesh is being hindered due to poverty. Also, general development of the country is being hampered by pervasive corruption in government. Besides, low literacy rate is another barrier on the way of a Digital Bangladesh.

Initiatives/Steps: Govt. must take on action plan to make Digital Bangladesh a success by 2021. Bangladesh is still a village-based country. So village centred development plan should be adopted.Technology should be made easily available to all classes of people.

Conclusion : Digital Bangladesh can be successful in an atmosphere of democracy, transparency and accountability, Therefore, in spite of the challenges on its way, people of Bangladesh should work together to make Bangladesh a modern, technologically
sophisticated country.

If necessary, our national policies should be reformulated. Politicians will have to come out of their self-interest and should work for the common interest of the nation.

Your Native Village Or, MY native village composition

Introduction : The name of our village is Jahapur.
It is in the district of Comilla. It is an old village.

Location : Our village stands on the east bank of the Gomati. On the east there is a large field. It is 27 miles away from the district head quarter. The thana head quarter, Muradnagar is only 5 miles away
from our village.

Population : The population of our village is over four thousand. Most of them are Muslims. The rest are Hindus. Most of the
villagers are farmers. Some are businessmen and service holders. Few
of the villagers are fishermen and carpenters. There are some educated men in our village. Most of them live in towns.
There are a high school,two primary schools, a college and a public library in our Village. There are also a post office and a big market here. There are Wo pucca mosques and a madrasha in the village.

Communication : The communication of our village either by road or by river is very good. It is well communicated with the district head quarter and the thana head quarter. The river, Gomati connects our village with Daudkandi and Gouripur.

Cultural Activities : Our village is famous for various cultural activities like 'Jatra', 'Jarigan', the boat race and the bullock fight etc. We have some cultural organizations as well. There are some cultural activities throughout the year.

Environment : The environment of our village is good for health. We have no want of pure drinking water. Fish, milk, meat and
vegetables are available here in plenty. So the villagers are healthy and active .

Conclusion : The people of our village are simple and honest.
They live in peace and happiness. We are proud that we live in such an ideal village. I love my village more than any other place on earth.

Introduction : The 21st February is a red letter day in our national life. Every year on this very day the whole nation comes to
the martyr's monument and the ritual seems to effect a purification of souls.
Facts of the day : On this day in 1952, the brave sons of 'Mother Bengal' laid down their lives to protect the interest of the mother language. After the birth of Pakistan the ruler of the West Pakistan
wanted to impose 'Urdu' on the Bengali speaking people as state language of Pakistan.
But everybody, especially the students of the then East Pakistan demanded Bengali as the state Language. As a result the Language Movement took place. The then Pakistan Govt. wanted to stop this movement imposing section 144. But the patriotic and fearless sons of our soil brought out a procession defying section 144 on the 215 February, 1952. That day Rafiq, Salam, Jabber and
others were brutally killed. Many were injured and hundreds were arrested.

How observed : Every year on this day people come to The Shaheed Minars and offer their respect to the martyrs.The government, different organizations and institutions arrange programmes to celebrate the day. Besides, according to a decision of the UNESCO on Nov. 17, 1999, this day is now the International Mother Language day. The International Mother Language Day is now being observed all over the world with due respect.

Influence of the day : This day has a great influence for the whole nation as it did in the past. This will go on in the future too. In fact, this movement led the nation to its liberation. Also, every year this day reminds the world that every nation's mother tongue should be protected.

Conclusion : Our language movement on 21st February is a unique event in the history of human civilization. We are really glorified by the declaration of the UNESCO that turned a national celebration  to an international event.
We are proud of our language martyr's.

Introduction: In Bangladesh garments industry has flourished a lot A greater portion of the foreign money comes from the readymade garments. A huge number of people are involved with this industry. The workers do not get enough money to lead their life decently. The life of a garment worker is not happy at all.
Composition
Starting the Day: A garment worker's day starts early in the morning. She gets up early and takes a light breakfast. She also takes some foods in a pot for the day. Then she rushes to the factory. She can not afford to go there by rickshaw. So, she walks fast to reach the factory. If she is a minute late, she is rebuked by her boss.

Working Condition: A garment worker works in an unhealthy environment. She works in a congested room. Sometimes she works all day long standing on her feet. Sometimes she is attacked with
diseases. But she must continue her work despite all her problems. In the office she gets no break. Only a few minutes are given to her to take lunch which does not satisfy her hunger.

Her Hard work: A garment worker works by the sweat of her brow. Her office hours is much longer. It is usually from 8am to 8pm.
But compared to her hard work she is paid very little. With her meager income she maintains herself and her family which usually consists of her old parents and one or two kids. In fact from morning
till late night she works without rest.

Conclusion: The life of a garment worker is full of hardship. She hardly enjoys the pleasures of life. Her life is like a machine. She has no pood food, no good house, and no relaxation. Only during the Eid or Puja she gets two or there days as holidays. However, in recent times the garment workers are trying to make some movements to increase their salaries. The Govt.
is also trying to better their living
condition because their contribution to the national economy is very significant.

A existing football match i witnessed composition for all class

Introduction : I play various games like football, cricket, badminton, table tennis etc.
Among them I like the game, football
host. I have witnessed a good number of football matches. Last week I also had an opportunity to witness a football match between Homna High School and Dulalpur C.M High School. It was played in our school ground. The match was full of thrill and excitement.

The first half : On the appointed day, I along with some of my friends, went to the venue in time. Thousands of football loving people gathered around the field to witness the game. The referee and the players entered the field in time. Just at 4 p.m the referee blew off his whistle and the game started. At the very beginning of the match there was a pin drop silence, But within a few minutes, an excitement spread out among the spectators. All the players were playing very carefully and nicely.
There were shouts of encouragements all around the field. This made the game more interesting. The team of Dulalpur C.M. High School were able to make several movements and had few scoring chances. But the defenders of Homna High School foiled for them skilfully. Both the teams were equally strong. There was no goal in the first half.

The second half : At the beginning of the second half both the teams grew furious. They attacked each other and tried to net the ball. There was wild excitement on both sides. The match continued with attacks and counter attacks for the next few minutes. But at the last moment a miracle happened, There was a penalty within the goal boundary of the Homna High School team. Then the scorer of the opposite team kicked the ball and were able to score a goal. It happened in the twinkling of an eye. The time was over and the referee blew the final whistle. Thus the game came to an end with the victory of Dulalpur C.M. High School.

Conclusion: The game continued for ninety minutes with an interval of ten minutes.

There was no dull moment in the entire match. I enjoyed the match with all my heart.

Short essay composition on a cricket match i witnessed

Introduction : I play various games like cricket, football, badminton, table tennis etc. Among them, I like cricket most.
To me, it is the most popular and interesting game. I love to play and witness cricket.
Composition
Occasion : I had an opportunity to enjoy an exciting T20 World Cup-2014 cricket match played between Australia and Pakistan. The match was held in Mirpur Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium on 23 March 2014 in Dhaka.

The first innings : I along with one of my friends, somehow managed two tickets. The match began at 4.30 p.m. The two teams entered the centre of the stadium in time led  by the captain of respective team. The Pakistani team was led by Mohammad Hafeez and the Australian team was led by George Belly.
Australia won the toss and decided to field first. The opening batsmen of Pakistani Team were Ahmed Shehzad and Kamran Akmal and the opening bowlers of Australia were MA Starc and DE Bollinger. The two opening batsmen of Pakistan could not batwell against the fast bowlers of Australia. They lost two wickets very soon. After that next batsman Umar Akmal came and started batting ferociously. Gradually  the innings of the Pakistan team came to an end with the challenging score 191 by five wickets. Umar Akmal scored 94 out of 54 balls with 4 sixes and 9 fours.

The second innings : In the second innings, the Australia team started batting. At first they tried to keep the match under their control. But very soon they lost their two skilled batsmen DA Warner and SR Watson. But Finch and Maxwell started batting well. They batted ferociously and took the control of the match under them. Finch scored 65 and Maxwell 74. But Pakistani bowlers suddenly came back to the match taking these two wickets. Then next batsmen of Australia team could not bat well against the attacking bowlers of
Pakistan team. At one stage their innings stopped on 175 runs. And Pakistan won the match by 16 runs. Umar Akmal was declared the man of the match in consideration of his outstanding performance.

Conclusion : I was the supporter of Pakistan. This was the most exciting cricket match I have ever enjoyed. It was really an enjoyable and extraordinary day for me. The players tried to exhibit their best skill and performance.
The memory and pleasure of the match will remain ever fresh in my mind.

Introduction : Bangladesh is enriched with various gifts of nature. Fruit is one of the valuable natural gifts.
The suitable land and climate help her to grow different kinds of fruits in different seasons. These are very helpful to keep sound body and sound mind.
Kinds of Bangladeshi fruits : Bangladesh produces many kinds of fruits. These are different in size, taste and colour. Some are big and some are small.
Some taste sweet and some are sour. Again the
fruits may be classified as summer fruits, winter fruits and fruits in all seasons. The most common fruits of Bangladesh are mangoes, jack - fruits, bananas, coconuts, pine-apples etc.

Mango : The mango is a summer fruit. It is called the king of fruits. There are many kinds of mangoes. They are Fazli, Langra,
Gopalbhog. Mohonbhog etc. They are famous for their taste and flavour. Mango grows in plenty in Rajshahi, Chapi Nowabgonj and Bogra.


Jack-fruit : Jack-fruit is the biggest of all fruits in size. It is called the national fruit of Bangladesh. It is delicious and sweet. It grows largely in the districts of Dhaka, Mymensingh and Chittagong.

Banana : Banana grows almost everywhere of the country. It grows all the year round. It is sweet and beautiful. The Sabri and the Sagar are the best bananas.

Coconut : The green coconut is a delicious food. It grows in all seasons. It grows in plenty in the coastal districts. The water of the green coconut is a good drink. The ripe coconuts give us both food and oil.

Pine-apple : Pine-apple is a juicy and fleshy
fruit. It grows well in the districts of Sylhet and Chittagong hilltracts. It is available in the rainy season.

Some other fruits : There are many other fruits in Bangladesh. Among them papaws, lichis, black-berries, dates, melons, wood-apples, guava, lemons etc. are very well-known. These fruits are both nutritious and tasty.

Importance of fruits : Fruits are good food. They are rich in food value. They contain a lot of vitamins and mineral salts. We can
also earn much foreign money by exporting them to other countries.

Conclusion : Each fruit has its own flavour and taste. Fruits satisfy our hunger for various tastes.
They protect us from diseases. Soils of Bangladesh are very suitable for growing various types of fruits. So we should try to grow more fruits.

My daily life or, My daily routine Composition

Introduction : All of us should have a daily routine of work. To make proper use of time it is absolutely necessary to have a
daily routine. It is most necessary for a student. I am a student. I also have routine. I do my daily works according to this routine.
Starting of my days : I get up early in the morning. After finishing my natural call I brush my teeth, wash my hands and face
and say my morning prayer. Then I go out for a walk in the open air. I take my breakfast at 6.30 a.m. Then I go to my reading room and prepare my lessons till 9.30a.m. I go to bathe at 10 a.m. Then I
take my meal and start for school at 10.30 a.m. I reach before the school begins.

At school : I remain at school from 11 a.m. to 4.30 p. m. I always sit in the first bench and listen to what my teachers say. I never make a noise during the lesson time. We have leisure at 1.30 p.m. I take tiffin in the leisure period. Then I say my 'Zohar' prayer in the mosque. When the school breaks up at 4.30 p.m., I return home straight.

From returning home to going bed : After returning home I take my tiffin. After taking a light refreshment I go to the Play ground. I usually play football, volleyball, cricket etc. I return home before sunset. Coming back from the play ground I take rest and say my evening prayer. Then I go to my reading room. I read my with my parents.In the meantime I say my 'Esha' prayer. After this I go to bed and have a sound sleep.

Conclusion : A daily routine leads us to maintain a happy life. We learn discipline from this. It brings happiness for us in future.
So all should have a daily routine and maintain it strictly.

Present Condition: Nowadays, social networks are expanding so fast. Because, most of the social services are cost-free. We can use these social networks paying only a very little to internet service provider. We can exhibit our personal profile before the entire online community. It is really like presenting ourselves before the entire world. We can also look into other people's profile if we are interested. Besides these, social networks allow users to upload pictures, multimedia contents and modify the profile. There are privacy protection measures for the users as well. A user can select the number of his friends or the visitors of his profile etc.In fact, today using social network has become a part of modern life.
Now people do not need computer for using these network services. In most mobile phone sets there are the options to get connected with social networks.

Demerits: It is true that social networking services are not free from 'demerits. The young generation specially school-going, college- going and university-going students are addicted to such social networks. As a result, their study is greatly hampered. Even some go to the dogs because they are sharing obscene videos with their friends. Even killing, smuggling, eve-teasing, etc. are likely to happen with the help of social networking services.

Conclusion: In fine, emphatically it can be sketched that everything, good or bad, depends on the users of the social
networking services. The users will be greatly benefited if they use these services properly.
On the contrary, they will be greatly harmed if they misuse these services. So, the social networking services should be used for mutual benefit and social upliftment.

Introduction : Bangladesh is a small country with large population. This country is widely known as a poor country in the world. It is struggling hard to survive with its hundreds of burning problems. Unemployment problem is one of them.

Unemployment means want of any kind of productive work. It has become an acute problem nowadays.
Composition
Causes of unemployment. There are many causes of unemployment problem. They are Rapid growth of population, backwardness in industrialization, lack of capital and technology, lack of skill, lack of education, false sense of dignity, disliking for manual labour, inequitable distribution of national wealth, political turmoil of the country, frequent visit of natural disasters like floods, cyclones, droughts etc.

Demerits of unemployment: Unemployment is a great social evil. It makes a man idle. There is a proverb that an idle brain is the workshop of devil. An idle person always indulges in mischief. So unemployment leads men to anti-social activities. Besides, lack of opportunities for employment makes people frustrated to take education.
This problem is also responsible for brain-drain.In order to solve the problem we all should come ahead with patriotic zeal (China) in a body. The following measures may prove
effective to root out the problem:

i) The first necessary thing for the solution of the problem is the industrialization of the country. It means that a large number of mills, Factories and firms should be set up throughout the country so that the unemployed can work there.

ii) Vocational training should be introduced and students should have some training in it.

ii) Our students and youths should be made to give up their mania for jobs. They should be encouraged to respect manual labour and choose an independent career.

iv) Steps should be made to increase our national income to the maximum and distribute it equitably.

v) The government should be honest and sincere in their plans and policies.


vi) Above all, the growth of population should be kept within reasonable limit.

Conclusion : Our government have already taken some effective steps to remove the problem. But the government cannot solve it alone. All the people of the country should be active against the spread of this great problem.
